Idaho: Changes to application timing and documentation requirements
- Application receipt timing is changing:
- UnitedHealthcare must receive an application or plan change request for eligible individuals on the individual’s birthday and no later than 63 days after their birth date.
- The 30-day window before the individual’s birthday – during which UnitedHealthcare could receive an application or plan change request – will be eliminated.
- New documentation requirements:
- If the individual is replacing coverage from another insurer, documentation from their current insurer needs to include:
- The individual’s name as the insured
- The current plan code
